Are you interested in joining the brigade?

New members are always welcome, whether you want to be active in Firefighting or would prefer to help in other ways. All necessary equipment and training are provided free of charge.

To join come along to one of our meetings or contact our secretary to get an application form. Then bring that along to a meeting, along with 100 points of identification. Background checks are an important step in this process, and a criminal history check will be conducted after your application form is completed.

If your application for membership is successful, you will be accepted as a probationary member of the brigade, and can start training. The essential course for all firefighters is Bush Firefighter, which is run over two weekends. After that there are as many or as few additional courses as you wish, covering first aid, advanced techniques and Leadership in the brigade or beyond.
